Story

Cronkite formed quietly in the summer of 2003 when three guys with a shared appreciation for sugary cereals, Steve Martin's Cruel Shoes and the outro to No. 13 Baby decided San Francisco needed one more indie band on the scene.

The guys in the band are Jorge Taylor, Chris Denend and Mark Daugherty. Jorge plays guitar and sings. Chris plays the drums. Mark plays bass and, on rare occasions, the accordian.

The sound is indie rock...American style. Influences include The Replacements, Spoon, Ted Leo and REM (circa Reckoning--long before any signs of shiny-ness or happiness)
